about
I wrote this song when I was 16. Its got 16 year old feelings and lyrics and a lite FM vibe. A friend asked me to send him a copy of the song - we were in the high school band that originally performed it. I couldn't find a good recording from 1996 so I just made one today instead. All of my friends love this song I think because it reminds them of a place and a time where everything felt right.
lyrics
When windmills speak to me and they’re so full of poetry Im reminded of you I was hopeless and just a misunderstanding never felt heartstring tied to name until angels came I was afraid we were nothing kissing faces in a dream could you open up to me just once I heard you falling are you hiding your angel wings we’re both lost theres something there in your eyes that tells me I’m not lonely I’m not dreaming inside I pull my eyes down from the dreams of you
